🌟 ROOSEVELT HIGH VS. ST. LOUIS POLICE BASKETBALL GAME‼️

Who doesn’t love a good game of basketball?

During Roosevelt High School’s homecoming activities this week, students traded in their school-day routines for sneakers, jerseys.

and a little friendly competition when they faced members of the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department’s Central Patrol on the basketball court.

The game was created as an opportunity for students and local officers to come together, have fun, and build connections through sports.

According to the FOX 2 report, Roosevelt Principal Dr. Duane Foster said the idea came from graduation coach Dr. Quincy Howard, who helped bring the two groups together.

And while everyone came ready to play, the evening became about more than who scored the most points.

The report described the competition turning into fellowship and relationship-building between students and officers.

Student player Ty Ross Jr. shared that the event gave students who may not be familiar with police officers a chance to come together and interact.

Sometimes the best connections happen when people simply play, laugh, compete, and spend time together!

Basketball brought Roosevelt students and officers onto the same court — proving that a little teamwork and school spirit can create some pretty special moments.
