At just 13 years old, Zac Waters spent his summer designing, 3D-printing, testing and assembling
a custom wheelchair.
The wheelchair was designed for a 21-month-old girl who needed one.
When asked why he took on the project, Zac explained that it combined two of his favorite things:
3D printing and helping people in need.
What makes this story so special isn’t just the colorful wheelchair he created.
It’s the compassion behind the idea.
Zac saw a need and used his creativity and skills to help meet it.
His story is a beautiful reminder that age doesn’t determine the size of your impact.
Sometimes, one thoughtful idea can make life a little easier for someone else.
