🚨 FAMILY SEARCH LEADS TO TRAGIC DISCOVERY‼️

SMYRNA, GEORGIA —

The investigation into the disappearance and death of 26-year-old Shanteria “KT” Mosley has taken a series of disturbing turns, with authorities now identifying Mosley as the woman whose remains were discovered at and near the Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna.

Mosley was known to family and friends as “KT.”

She was a mother and worked as a DoorDash delivery driver.

Her family says she left home Wednesday morning, September 23, and they became increasingly concerned when they could no longer reach her later that day.

THE SEARCH FOR KT

When relatives were unable to reach Mosley, they began trying to locate her themselves.

According to her aunt, Michelle Weaver, the family tracked Mosley’s cellphone and discovered that her phone and vehicle were at the Park Valley Apartments in Smyrna.

The family went to the complex and began searching for her.

Relatives knocked on apartment doors, spoke with residents and tried to determine where Mosley had gone.

Smyrna police say the first call came at approximately 6:57 p.m. after authorities were informed that Mosley’s phone and vehicle were at the apartment complex.

Police said an officer remained at the complex for approximately 30 minutes, knocked on doors and spoke with people.

According to police, officers did not initially have information indicating that Mosley was in immediate danger or that the case had been classified as a critical missing-person situation.

Police also said the family had reported that Mosley was last seen in Atlanta and were advised to file a missing-person report with Atlanta police.

THE FAMILY KEPT SEARCHING

After the officer left, Mosley’s family continued searching the complex themselves, according to relatives.

Family members reportedly spoke with residents and continued looking around the property.

Then, according to Weaver and the arrest warrant, the family saw 18-year-old Kingston Lammar Bradley carrying a plastic container through an open area of the apartment complex.

The warrant states that Bradley allegedly dropped the container on a dirt walkway and ran toward his nearby apartment after realizing he had been seen.

A dismembered torso was subsequently discovered inside the container.

Weaver, Mosley’s mother and another family member ultimately found what they believed to be Mosley’s remains in a wooded area behind Bradley’s apartment.

The family said they recognized Mosley by a tattoo.

Weaver has strongly emphasized that the family was responsible for continuing the search that led to the discovery.

“Don’t say y’all found her.

Her family found her.

Y’all left us to do it ourselves.”

ADDITIONAL REMAINS FOUND

The investigation continued after the initial discovery.

On Friday, September 25, detectives obtained a search warrant for a vehicle.

Investigators found garbage bags inside the trunk, including one bag that appeared to contain a body part.

The Cobb County Medical Examiner’s Office was called to the scene.

After the bags were opened, officials confirmed that they contained human remains.

Police said they believe those remains belong to Mosley.

Authorities have continued searching for additional evidence and additional remains.

KINGSTON BRADLEY FACES MURDER CHARGE

Kingston Lammar Bradley, 18, was initially arrested and charged with concealing the death of another person.

After additional remains were discovered Friday, Smyrna police announced that Bradley would also face a malice murder charge in connection with Mosley’s death.

He remains in custody without bond.

Authorities have not publicly disclosed Mosley’s cause or manner of death.

Investigators are also working to determine the relationship between Mosley and Bradley and why Mosley was at the apartment complex.

DoorDash confirmed that Mosley worked as a delivery driver, but reporting indicates her DoorDash account was not used on September 23, and there is currently no evidence that she made a delivery to the Park Valley Apartments that day.

Why she was at the complex remains an unanswered question.

For Mosley’s family, the investigation is about more than the arrest.

They are seeking answers about what happened to KT, why she ended up at the apartment complex, and whether all of her remains have been recovered.

Police have said the investigation remains active and that detectives are conducting interviews, executing search warrants and following additional leads.
