🚨 LAMBERT AIRPORT FACES TWO MONTH CLOSUREā€¼ļø

ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI —

Travelers using St. Louis Lambert International Airport should prepare for transportation changes beginning Monday, October 12.

As the airport’s Terminal 1 MetroLink station temporarily closes for construction and structural concrete repairs.

The closure is expected to continue through mid-December, with December 14 identified as the anticipated end date.

However, the closure affects the Terminal 1 MetroLink station, not the entire airport.

Airport flight operations are continuing, and travelers can still access both terminals.

Free Shuttle Service to Help Travelers

During the construction period, MetroLink passengers traveling to Terminal 1 must take the Red Line to the Terminal 2 station and transfer to the airport’s free shuttle service.

Passengers arriving at Terminal 2 should follow signs to Exit 10 to board the shuttle to Terminal 1.

Travelers departing from Terminal 1 should go to Exit 12 to catch the shuttle to Terminal 2, where they can board MetroLink.

Metro Transit warns that the additional transfer will add time to airport trips.

Passengers are encouraged to plan ahead and allow extra time to reach their terminals.

What Travelers Need to Know

The temporary closure may affect commuters, airport employees, visitors, and passengers who rely on public transportation to reach the airport.

Although flights are not being suspended because of this station closure, travelers should verify their airline’s departure terminal and make appropriate transportation arrangements.

Passengers can check shuttle information through the airport’s website, FlySTL.com, including shuttle tracking through PassioGo.

Travelers should monitor official Metro Transit and St. Louis Lambert International Airport announcements for construction updates and any changes to the projected reopening date.
