🚨 MOTHER PUSHED FROM 15th FLOOR BABY SURVIVES‼️

NEW YORK—

A 23-year-old Bronx mother, Nathaly Ramirez, died Tuesday after police say she and her 8-month-old daughter were pushed from a 15th-floor balcony.

This happened at an apartment building on Olinville Avenue in the Allerton section of the Bronx.

Police responded shortly after 3:30 a.m. on October 6 and found Ramirez and her daughter outside the building.

Both were transported to Jacobi Medical Center.

Ramirez died from her injuries, while her daughter survived the fall and remains hospitalized in critical but stable condition.

Investigators believe Ramirez was holding her daughter tightly when they fell, which may have helped cushion the baby’s impact.

Witnesses reported hearing an argument and Ramirez pleading shortly before the fall.

Authorities are investigating her death as a homicide and have been searching for a man believed to be responsible.

Reports published Wednesday identified the man as 31-year-old Angel Carrasco, described as Ramirez’s boyfriend or former boyfriend.

Police have reportedly warned that he should be considered armed and dangerous.

The tragedy is also being investigated in the context of an history of domestic violence involving the couple.

Ramirez’s death has left family, friends and neighbors mourning a young mother whose final moments were spent protecting her child.

Justice for Dakota Foundation™ extends our deepest condolences to Nathaly’s family and prayers for the continued recovery of her daughter. 🕊️

This remains an active investigation.
